About Simpson Estate & Elder Law

Martin Simpson was raised in West Plains, and he chose to raise his family here because he values being a part of a community where people look after one another. Martin cares deeply about the Ozarks and he is committed to serving the place that shaped him.

Martin graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2005. He spent the early part of his career in family law before transitioning to elder law and opening his own practice in 2017. Martin founded his practice with the express interest of helping his neighbors navigate the often complex legal system. With over 20 years of experience, Martin has earned a reputation as one of West Plains' most trusted attorneys.

Martin’s son, Benjamin, joined the practice in 2024 after earning his law degree from William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. Benjamin is the only Spanish-speaking attorney in South-Central Missouri, putting him in the unique position to serve native Spanish speakers in the region with divorce and custody matters, criminal cases, DUI representation, and immigration law.

Together, Martin and Benjamin are committed to helping residents of Southern Missouri during transitional times in their lives.

"My primary goal is to assist my aging neighbors and their families through difficult transitions." - Marty Simpson gavel
